After 12 months construction time my stretch fuselage is very close to getting a spash of paint....I'm looking at the hydraulic lines and wondering if there is some advice out there as to a good clean attachment to the undercarrige...Any help appreciated . craig

Well, naturally, the cleanest is to gun drill the holes in the gear. ;D Other than that, you can run them up the back and clamp them with home made clamps. (miniature plumbers straps.) <no Sonerai content> Guzzi guy, huh? I have.. ahem.. 4.

I have stainless steel braided lines that I attached with adel clamps. The adel clamps have a ruber cushion to help stop chaffing of your hyd lines.

Mine are hidden in the leg. The front of my gear was rounded with a file. The back was left square. I bought some balsa aileron material for model airplanes and sanded a groove for the brake line to fit into. After I installed the balsa with a bit of glue I glassed over the entire gear leg.

You can see which part is balsa in this pict. The line comes out of the bottom.

Mine are attached to the trailing edge of the gear by black window urethane. it is molded right over the cable so that it is all stream line with the gear. It has been on there since 1978 i would assume. Still holding strong.
