Is anyone using the fuel primer from GPAS? How does it work? Did you use the Tygon tubing that comes with it or copper? I think I prefer the copper! What nozzles did you use? I do not see nozzles in the kit from GPAS
Thanks for your input! Mark

I used a GPASC primer for the first 150 hours. It worked okay at first but it then started to leak. I then switched to an ASC primer which has been trouble-free for the past 300 hours. The ASC primer has 1/8" NPT inlet and outlet ports allowing flared AN fittings to be used with your copper tubing.
I use an AN4022-1 discharge nozzle for better atomization. Search AN4022-1 on the Spruce site for this and other parts for the nozzle. For ease of soldering, get the brass AN800-2 union cone. They sell a AN800-2C which is SS and more difficult to solder. I found a quality silver solder and a good flux a must for joining the union cone to copper line. Buy a few extra AN800-2 union cones to practice on. They're only $1.21 each.
Hope this helps.

for safety the ASC ,copper and 4022-1 nozzle would be the best route. Not the cheapest but not excessive cost.

Probably showing my ignorance here, so please enlighten me: why use a primer at all? On my S-II, pulling six blades with the mixture full rich and half throttle is enough preparation/priming to start the engine with one or two pulls. My S-II has a 32mm AeroInjector mounted on a 2180cc VW.

A primer is needed for my Ellison TBI. It doesn't allow fuel past the diaphragm pump until the engine is running.
