Attached pictures show the modification I made to my arbor press to drive the solid rivets thru the spar cap strips and spar reinforcing angles. Its basically a 5/8 bolt with washers and a nut. Bolt end was cut (to length), milled, drilled, and countersunk slightly to accept the cupped rivet set for the 5/32 solid rivets. Attachments:

This picture shows the arbor press (rivetting tool) and spar, showing the clearance that was achieved between the base of the arbor press and spar reinforcing angle. (All solid rivetting done up to this point had the cupped rivet set in the base of the arbor press.) Attachments:
