For all of you who have purchased my Sonerai Newsletter back issue CDs, you probably noticed that I included a directory/table-of-contents in the 1996-2010 CD, but not the 1987-1995 CD. Well, I've fixed that. Starting now, the 1987-1995 CD will have a directory in both the .pdf format and in an Excel format. So, if anyone would like to have a copy of the new directories, please email me at fredkeip@aol.com, and I'll send you a copy of each.

Hi Fred,
I'm a complete newbie, and have just ordered a set of plans for the S1. What are your newsletters all about?

The Sonerai Newsletter was a quarterly publication dedicated to building, flying, and maintaining all of the different versions of the Sonerai airplane. It was started by Ed Sterba (of propellor making fame) in 1987 after Monnett Experimental/INAV closed it's doors. Ed published the newsletter thru 1996. I started helping Ed in 1996, and took over the editing and publishing in 1997. I continued thru 2010, when I retired as editor. Since no one else stepped forward to take over, the newsletter is now also retired. I still sell two CDs containing all of the newsletter in .pdf format for $75.00. There's a ton of excellent information in these CDs, and I'd strongly recommend them as required reading for any Sonerai builder. See my ad in the classified section for more info.

The CDs are one of the few bargains a builder can find when building a Sonerai. There's a wealth of relevant information in the newsletter CDs that you can't find anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I just recently ordered a set of plans for the Sonerai 2 from GPAS. My question pertains to changes or updates to the plans. Do these newsletters cover any of these updates? I had not seen anything the stood out in the plans package related to updates/revisions.
Thanks

Have the plans been updated by GPAS over the years, or do the newsletters fill that gap? I believe that the wing spar was revised at some point. Do the newsletters update this or has it been done by GPAS?
