Hello Am assembling a new GP 1915 engine ,one big difference is the old inlet manifold is a Y model and will not fit around the new x casting,so I need to modify or build a new one,has anyone built one? what material to use that can be bent?? what about joins? thanks Mab

Great Plains also sells formed tubing which is commonly used for exhaust and intakes. I just bought about a dozen pieces to weld up an exhaust system. It appears to be the same tubing as my intake tubes. Any local exhaust tubing fabricator should also be able to get you what you need, but they can be a bit spendy.

JC Whitney carries a line of prebent tubing which can be cut and welded. I have used this stuff for the 3 different manifolds as well as exhaust. Not the lightest but I think it is the same gage as GP sells. They also sell prebent stainless in the same gage.
